As you are aware, following AIA Group's acquisition of ING's insurance and employee benefits businesses in Malaysia on 18 Dec 2012, AIA entered into a legally binding agreement with ING that we would discontinue the use of their brand effective 17 June 2013.
In addition, with the approval of Bank Negara Malaysia, American International Assurance Bhd. and ING PUBLIC Takaful Ehsan Berhad will also be undergoing a name change to "AIA Bhd." and "AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd.", respectively, effective 17 June 2013.
Please find attached a set of guidelines on the discontinuation of the ING logo and adoption of AIA and AIA PUBLIC Takaful Bhd's visual identity to guide our employees, agents and business partners during this process.
